This portfolio features images that I have taken of women who seemed to be standing out to me and that I looked up to. They were showing strength and creativity in a certain way.

Finally motherhood evolved as a topic as a seemingly unachievable and admirable state to be as a woman and finally as the crowning gift of being a mother myself.

The steep learning curve of life and understanding the other women around me.

The women in my photos have all achieved amazing things and have had to battle in different ways. When things don't go according to plan 'A' or you are just a little different to the stereotypical families around you. What is your special story? Loosing a husband, a child, a breast, your home, your career, your self confidence or all your IVF eggs... Gaining love and happiness in other ways and growing with the challenges that life gives you. All from a female point of view.
